Welcome to Sthetix In Stone (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

Sthetix In Stone is an interior-design-led marble craftsmanship brand based in Mumbai, India, with manufacturing operations in Rajasthan. We source premium marble from India and internationally to create handcrafted décor and utility products.

By accessing our website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Nature of Our Products

All products offered by Sthetix In Stone are:

  • Handcrafted marble décor and utility pieces
  • Designed with artisanal techniques
  • Individually finished and not mass-produced

Due to the handcrafted nature and the inherent qualities of natural stone:

  • Size, shape, and proportions may slightly vary
  • Surface textures and finishes may vary
  • Design detailing may vary subtly
  • Marble colour tones, patterns, and veining will differ from piece to piece

These variations are not defects. They are natural characteristics of marble and part of the handcrafted uniqueness of each product.

Product images are for representation purposes only. Product images are indicative and slight differences in appearance may occur due to lighting conditions, screen settings, and viewing 

2. Interior Design & Decorative Use

Our products are designed primarily for interior spaces. They may be used as decorative or light utility pieces.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring appropriate placement
  • Using suitable surfaces
  • Avoiding exposure to extreme weather, moisture, or chemicals unless specified

3. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in INR unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices are inclusive/exclusive of taxes as mentioned at checkout.
  • We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
  • Orders are confirmed only after full payment is received.

Payment processing is handled through secure third-party payment gateways.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders are processed after confirmation of payment.
  • Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to logistics conditions.
  • Marble products are fragile and require careful handling during transit.

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.

5. Damaged-in-Transit Policy (Important)

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Record a clear, continuous, and unedited full unboxing video.

The video must:

  • Begin before the outer package is opened.
  • Clearly show the sealed package.
  • Show the entire unpacking process without cuts or pauses.
  • Clearly capture the damaged area.

The video must clearly show:

  • The sealed package
  • Outer packaging condition
  • Inner packaging
  • The product condition

Submit the video within 48 hours of delivery to:

Important:

  • Edited, cut, or incomplete videos will not be accepted.
  • Claims submitted after 48 hours from delivery will not be considered.
  • Photographs alone are insufficient without the full unboxing video.

After review and verification, we may offer:

  • Replacement (subject to availability), or
  • Refund at our discretion.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handcrafted and customized nature of our products:

  • Returns are not accepted for minor natural variations.
  • Returns are not accepted due to colour/veining differences inherent in marble.
  • Custom-made or made-to-order products are non-returnable.

All approved returns must be authorized by us in writing.

7. Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Customised products:

  • May require extended production timelines.
  • Are non-cancellable once production begins.
  • Are non-returnable unless damaged in transit (subject to the 48-hour video policy).

8. Intellectual Property

All website content including:

  • Product designs
  • Images
  • Text
  • Branding elements

are the intellectual property of Sthetix In Stone and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

9. Marble Sourcing

We source marble from:

  • Indian quarries
  • International suppliers

Material variations based on source origin are natural and not grounds for dispute.

10. Limitation of Liability

Sthetix In Stone shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Improper handling after delivery
  • Improper installation or placement
  • Natural wear and tear

Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.

11. Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.
  • Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible.
  • Custom orders cannot be cancelled after production begins.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

13. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on this page.
