For over 40 years, Sthetix In Stone has worked with marble not simply as a material, but as a medium of expression.

Our origins lie in the marble mines of Makrana, where we sourced underground stone strong enough to withstand ambitious architectural craft. The early decades were defined by scale — monumental benches, pillars, façades, bannisters, and large art installations carved from tonnes of stone.

In marble craftsmanship, value is rarely measured by what remains. It is measured by what is removed.

Over the last 3 decades, our focus shifted from scale to refinement. Through continuous design experimentation, we evolved techniques that allowed marble to become thinner, lighter, and structurally intelligent — making crafted stone more adaptable, more transportable, and more aligned with contemporary living.

It was during this phase of innovation that one of our defining specialties emerged: Light Through Stone.

By understanding the density, grain, and translucency of marble, we developed methods that allow light to gently pass through carefully sculpted surfaces — revealing depth, warmth, and a quiet luminosity within solid stone. What was once heavy and opaque became expressive and radiant.

Now, Sthetix enters a new chapter with the launch of its e-commerce division — beginning with a fresh and distinctive collection of handcrafted marble candle holders. These pieces embody decades of technical mastery and aesthetic evolution, with more thoughtfully designed categories to follow.
